PAINE WETZEL / TCN’S TERRY LYNCH PULLS OFF A TRIPLE PLAY AT A 179,312 SF FACILITY IN CHICAGO

     (Chicago, IL) – Paine Wetzel – TCN Worldwide (PW) is pleased to announce that Vice President, Terry Lynch, represented J & J Trucking in the acquisition of a 179,312 SF building on 7.15 acres located at 5950 W. 51st Street in Chicago, Illinois.  Larry Goldwasser, Senior Director, Colin Green, Associate Director, and Matt Cowie, Associate of Cushman & Wakefield represented the Seller, Leggett & Platt Global Inc. (NYSE: LEG).  J & J Trucking will occupy a portion of the facility for their Intermodal Transportation, Truck and Trailer Repair, LTL and Warehousing Operations.  Terry Lynch has been retained to market the balance of the property for lease.  John Kurpiel, President of J & J Trucking, stated that "Terry understands our operational requirement and was able to find a facility in our ideal location.  The building is slightly larger than what we currently need, but Terry was able to help us find us a strong tenant that moved in only 10 days after we purchased the property, even though the property was not yet on the market for lease.  We could not be happier or more excited with our new location and our overall potential here.” 

     In a second transaction at the property, Paine/Wetzel’s Lynch represented J & J Trucking on signing their first tenant for 5950 W. 51st.  The tenant, A. Lava and Sons, a Chicago Mattress and Bedding Manufacturer, will occupy approximately 38,000 SF.  A. Lava and Sons was represented by Matt Rogatz of Chicago Industrial Real Estate LLC.

     In the third leg of this triple play, Paine/Wetzel’s Bill Kerrins, Senior Vice President, and Lynch, represented Leggett & Platt Global Inc. (NYSE: LEG) in relocating their offices from their long-time home on 51st street to the 9th and 10th floors at 205 W. Wacker Drive in Chicago, totaling 16,550 SF.  Dan Persa of CBRE represented Accelerated Health Systems in the 10th floor sublease while the Landlord, Ameritus, was self-represented by Scott Sessa for space on the 9th floor.
