The space is located within a 14,000 square foot building at 401 Frontier Way.

  • CASE STUDY ~ BUDAPEST, HUNGARY

     

    At the start of this project, Emerson occupied approximately 27,800 square feet of office/assembly space in Hermina Towers located in Budapest, Hungary with a lease expiration date coming due on April 2, 2015.  Not only were they on pace to outgrow their current footprint but more importantly it wasn't the most efficient layout for their operation.  Therefore Paine Wetzel (“PW”) was engaged to assist in evaluating relocating to a larger facility or finding a creative solution within the existing premises resulting in a more efficient layout all while keeping costs down.

  • PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE’S ALBERT SCHULMAN COMPLETES FOUR CHICAGO-AREA TRANSACTIONS

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Albert Schulman, Senior Vice President of the firm, has recently completed three lease transactions and one sale in Cook County.

    In the first transaction, Schulman represented Specialized Assistance Services, NFP, in its purchase of a 17,000 square foot building at 2630 S. Wabash Avenue in Chicago. The not-for-profit is moving its headquarters from its current location at 2101 S. Indiana. Specialized Assistance Services, NFP is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1976 to provide comprehensive treatment services to individuals and families who experience problems associated with the use of psychoactive substances. They selected the new building because it was less than a mile from the present location, its elevator system and a dedicated garage for up to 19 cars. The building’s seller, Digby Security Systems, was represented by @properties Larry Cohn and Bernette Ketwigg.

    In the second transaction, Schulman represented 6027 S. Wentworth Building LLC in the sale of its 10,900 square foot building to 1st Response EMS, an ambulance company. The building sits on a 33,650 square foot site. A different ambulance company had previously occupied the building, so it was already complete with all the amenities needed to operate an emergency medical response facility. It was recently remodeled and in excellent move-in condition with new floor drains and a triple track catch basin. 1st Response also like the location on Wentworth Avenue bordering on the Dan Ryan expressway and its car parking for up to 50 vehicles. This is both relocation and an expansion for the ambulance company. The buyer was self-represented.

    In the third transaction, he represented Golden Eagle Distributors LLC in a new 30,117 square foot lease at 2121 21st Street in Broadview, IL. The general merchandise distribution company is relocating from 4139 West Ogden Avenue in Chicago and selected the space because of its high ceilings, wide bays, 3,000 square feet of office space and two interior truck docks with elevators. The building also includes an overhead drive-in door and available parking. It is centrally located near expressways and in a dense part of the distribution chain. The building’s owner, GIS Rolling LLC was represented by Darwin Realty’s Dan Fanelli.

    In the most recent transaction, Schulman represented EBeautique, Inc., an internet beauty supply business, in its lease of 15,293 square feet at 2444 W. 16th Street in Chicago The company is moving from its former space in Bellwood to the larger space closer to downtown Chicago. EBeautique selected the space because it was in a clean, upgraded, multi-tenant property near public transportation. They also liked its dedicated truck dock and parking, new office space and concrete construction. The landlord, 1600 Western Venture, LLC, was self-represented in the transaction.

  • BARNETT OF PAINE/WETZEL ARRANGES $5.1M SALE OF RIVER NORTH MIXED-USE BUILDING

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Ed Barnett, Executive Vice President of the firm, represented the seller of the Antiquarians Building complex at 159 W. Kinzie Street in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. A 2-story, 3-story and 5-story building total a 23,500 square foot retail/showroom complex that was sold for $5,100,000.

    The seller is an affiliate of Asian House, which occupied the buildings for 30 years. The purchaser is a Chicago investor who is finalizing plans for the real estate.

    "River North remains a most desirable segment of downtown Chicago due to its access to public transportation and the mix of tech, office, showroom, residential, hotel, restaurant and nightlife uses and activities. The area's development and adaptive reuse show no signs of abating" said Barnett, who has sold and leased various properties in River North.

  • LYNCH OF PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE COMPLETES LEASE AT PLEASANT PRAIRIE CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Terry Lynch, Vice President the firm, along with Cushman & Wakefield’s Sam Badger, completed the lease of a 13,605 square foot corporate headquarters space at 10801 Corporate Drive in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, to Specialized Accounting Services LLC.

    Specialized Accounting is relocating from its former headquarters at 8400 Lakeview Parkway, also in Pleasant Prairie, to this 51,742 square foot building due to the expressway access to I-94 and high-end finishes. Lynch and Badger represented the landlord, ATC Transportation Services, in the lease of the property, which is the former Snap-On Tool headquarters.

    Prudential Premier Properties’ President Anthony J. DeBartolo represented the tenant in the transaction.

  • PAINE/WETZEL TEAMS UP WITH FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN TO HELP BETTER OUR COMMUNITY

    Team members from Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide recently volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, an area nonprofit organization where volunteers hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children that are then shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world.

    Recently a group of Paine/Wetzel members gathered for a day of volunteering with Feed My Starving Children, the company’s second annual company-wide volunteering day. The firm has made a commitment to give back and contribute to their community in any way that they can not only as individuals but also as a company.

  • ED WABICK OF PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE COMPLETES LEASE TRANSACTION IN MUNSTER, IN

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Ed Wabick, Principal of the firm, completed a lease on behalf of Munster Development, LLC. The 56,800 square foot space at 9200 Calumet Avenue in Munster’s Lake Business Center will now be occupied by AM Manufacturing Company.

    AM Manufacturing Company makes equipment for the pizza, tortilla, bagel and baking industries. The company is expanding its facilities and relocating from Dolton, Illinois. AM Manufacturing chose this location due to the building’s easy access to I-80/94 and Calumet Avenue, its proximity to hotels and restaurants and Indiana’s low cost of doing business.

  • PHIL REIFF OF PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE COMPLETES LEASE TRANSACTION IN ELGIN, IL

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Phil Reiff, Senior Vice President of the firm, completed a lease on behalf of Gerali Custom Design, the owner of 1480 Sheldon Drive in Elgin. Interlink Logistics, a trucking fleet company, is relocating and expanding to a 10,560 space in the 47,840 square foot building on 5.09 acres of land.

    Interlink Logistics is a domestic and international logistics provider offering ground, air and ocean freight services. The company selected the building primarily due to the two acres of fenced off gravel parking which will be used to house the company’s trucks.

  • REIFF AND REIFF OF PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE COMPLETE LEASE TRANSACTION FOR PM CARRIERS

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Phil Reiff, Sr., Senior Vice President and Phil Reiff, Jr., Associate of the firm have completed a 15,814 square foot lease on behalf of PM Carriers, a trucking and logistics company in Bensenville, Illinois.

    PM Carriers is expanding and relocating their operations from 858 Sivert Drive in Wood Dale to this larger building at 870 Thomas Drive in Bensenville, Illinois. The trucking company selected the building primarily due to its 24’ clear ceiling height and large number of dock doors.

  • LYNCH AND GIRLING OF PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE COMPLETE THREE TRANSACTIONS

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Terry Lynch and Jeff Girling, have completed three transactions in Rolling Meadows, Cicero and Niles, Illinois.

    First, the team represented Yonan Carpet One in its purchase of a new retail location and warehouse space. The 32,423 square foot building at 1400 Hicks in Rolling Meadows will serve as a third location for the flooring company.

    The building was appealing to Yonan Carpet One because of its highly visible location near the expressway and the 25’ clear height ceilings in the warehouse area. The Yonan Family has operated its carpet and run business in Chicago since 1906, and has since expanded into hardwood flooring and green initiatives in flooring for homes and businesses. Yonan Carpet One purchased the building from Bank of America, which was represented by NAI Hiffman’s Steve Connelly and Adam Marshall.

  • PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE TEAM REPRESENTS TENANT IN INDUSTRIAL LEASE IN MUNSTER, IN

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Ed Wabick, Principal of the firm has completed an industrial lease in Munster, IN.

    TEC AIR has leased 127,600 square feet in a 650,000 square foot building at 9200 Calumet Avenue in Munster. The manufacturer of plastic air movement components and systems is moving their facility from Willow Springs, IL and expanding its lease. The new location is situated within the Lake Business Center, a new high-end business park in Northwest Indiana.

  • REIFF AND REIFF OF PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE COMPLETE LEASE TRANSACTION FOR SPX GENFARE

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that Phil Reiff, Sr., Senior Vice President and Phil Reiff, Jr., Associate have represented SPX Genfare, in a long term lease at 800 Arthur Avenue in Elk Grove Village. The tenant will be relocating and expanding from their current location at 751 Pratt Boulevard, also in Elk Grove Village.

    The modern 71,841 square foot facility was selected for its corporate amenities and will be finished to include 30,000 square feet of high finish office and tech center space. The single tenant building features 25 foot clear height, 12 truck docks and 152 parking spaces.

  • PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE TEAM REPRESENTS TENANT IN INDUSTRIAL LEASE IN ADDISON, IL

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that the team of Curt Stanton, Principal and Patrick Fitzgerald, Senior Associate has completed an industrial lease in Addison, IL.

    CTDI, Inc. has leased 10,000 square feet in a single-tenant building at 215 Fairbank Street in Addison. The global engineering and repair company that serves the communications industry took occupancy of the space on December 16, 2013. They selected the building because of its easy access to its customers, as well as its outdoor storage area and drive-in dock. The move represents an expansion of the company’s space.

    Founded in 1975, CTDI is a full-service, global engineering, repair and logistics company providing best-cost solutions to the communications industry. Its clients include major cable and telecom providers from around the world.

  • PAINE/WETZEL TCN WORLDWIDE AND CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD RELOCATE CHICAGO COMPANY’S HEADQUARTER MANUFACTURING FACILITY TO ROMEOVILLE, IL

    Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that the team of Jeff Girling and Terry Lynch of the firm along with Brad Weiner and Whit Heitman of Cushman & Wakefield represented Magid Glove & Safety Products, Inc. in the purchase of a 703,973 SF industrial facility on 35 acres at 1300 Naperville Drive in Romeoville, that will consolidate its two Chicago plants into one larger modern HQ, MFG and distribution facility. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jason West and Sean Henrick represented the seller, Venture One Real Estate.

    Magid Glove & Safety is America’s leading manufacturer, importer, distributor and direct supplier of hand protection, protective clothing, first aid, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Headquartered in Chicago, IL, Magid Glove & Safety Products purchased the Romeoville property, after searching the market from SE Wisconsin south to the I-55 corridor. This 24 month search targeted facilities that would not only meet Magid’s current needs but also accommodate their aggressive growth plans.
